An implementation-focused, international business curriculum

The online MSc International Business Management consists of 180 credits, and is divided into 10 fully autonomous credit-bearing modules. Each module is worth 15 credits, except the final business project, which is worth 30 credits. You will learn how to develop and implement global strategies, consider ethics in business operations, and adopt forward-thinking management techniques to guide multinational businesses towards long-term success. 

This course is subject to approval. This means that it has received initial agreement from the University and is currently undergoing a detailed final approval exercise, through the University’s quality assurance processes.

These processes are a requirement for all Higher Education Institutions within the UK, to ensure that courses are of the highest standard. Occasionally there may be instances where the University may delay or not approve the introduction of the course.

  • Global Strategy Implementation: Examine how inner and outer organizational factors affect the implementation of a global strategy. Explore the process of global strategy implementation and the factors that influence it. 
  • International Business Management: Explore the similarities and differences in how international and domestic companies manage and engage in business.
  • Digital Innovation: Understand digital business activities and their implications in business innovation and competition. Explore a variety of topics and strategies such as digital business technologies, digital business models, digital platforms, and digital marketing to help businesses thrive in the digital age.
  • Marketing: Study theoretical frameworks to analyze and understand the power of marketing in national and international contexts. Use theory and case studies from the UK and across the globe to analyze environmental conditions, market competition, consumer behavior, marketing strategy and planning, and the growing influence of technology.

Admissions

Applicants must have a minimum of a Lower Second Class Honors (2:2) UK degree, or a recognized equivalent international qualification to apply. 

The following materials are required to complete the online application:

  • Transcripts 

  • Two references (professional or academic) 

  • Personal statement

  • Résumé/CV (optional)

  • English proficiency scores (if English is not your first language)
